Marco Bortolozzo 2013 #35

The guitar maker
Marco Bortolozzo was born in the early eighties in a small town in Italy in the midst of vineyards, vegetable gardens and dismantled engines. He comes from a family of hard workers and learned early in life from his father how to hold every type of tool in his hand. As a child he built wooden machines and disassembled (and reassembled) bicycles.
He enrolled in a university to study industrial design. These years had been fundamental for his training as a luthier, because he learned about production processes and design stages.
Nowadays, Marco Bortolozzo is a professional experienced luthier and guitars have become his life. He has built many guitars and has always made sure that his instruments are easy to use, have correct intonation, deep basses, brilliant high frequencies and broad dynamic capabilities. His guitars are the result of the passion and study of the great guitar makers of the past.

Description
A beautiful guitar signed Marco Bortolozzo, a copy of the Torres FE09, one of the first guitars of Antonio de Torres (1859), also known as the "Llobet model" (Miguel Llobet owned it, it can be seen in the music museum in Barcelona).
The bird's eye maple, the rosette where cypress, maple, mahogany and other species are combined, the texture of the top, the purfling, everything is perfect in terms of refinement and elegance.
The below-E air resonance gives this guitar its great depth of bass and penetrating treble.
The sound performance is as good as the aesthetics: the bass is round and deep, the trebles are powerful, expressive and smooth. A beautiful guitar, reactive and very vibrant because of its lightness, easy and pleasant to play.
